Subject: [CPLUG Chatter] New Webhost

(I'm sending this email to all of the mailing lists to make sure 
everyone gets the message- I apologize if you're getting this email 3 times)

We've switched over our web site and mailing lists to our new host, 
Digital West Networks (www.digitalwest.net), who is providing the 
hosting to us free of charge (thanks guys!).

There was a bit of a mix-up in the conversion and the mailing lists were 
down for about 3 days- if you tried to send something and it didn't get 
through, please send it again.

Our old webhost only sent us a list of email addresses for all of the 
mailing lists to import into the new lists, so some of your options may 
have changed. You can change your mailing list settings at 
http://lists.cplug.org/mailman/listinfo
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

There are also some other changes that we've been meaning to do for a 
while and we figured now would be the best time to do them.
The mailing list members at cplug.org is a bit confusing because the list 
is open to everyone, member or not (as long as they're not a spammer), 
and we wanted to make that clear in the name. The mailing list is the 
same, only we've changed the name of it to cplug at cplug.org. 
members at cplug.org is aliased to cplug at cplug.org, so if you forget and 
send a message to members@ it will still get through.

We've also changed the purposes of the mailing lists slightly- here's 
what the mailing lists are for:

Announce - CPLUG meeting and event announcements
Chatter - General chatter about anything non-Linux related
Cplug - Linux related questions/answers and conversation

The meeting/event announcements will be sent out on announce@ from now 
on, so if you're not on that list and you'd like to know what we're up 
to, please subscribe to it at

For your filtering convenience, the subject line of all mailing list 
emails begin with [CPLUG
