[CPLUG] Wondering if anyone could explain some Linux stuff to me

Something that will help greatly in trying to figure out wifi issues:
please mention what hardware you have (specific laptop model). For
example, laptops with Broadcom wifi cards will need to connect to wired
network at least once to get the Broadcom firmware.
Other than that, you should just be able to open the network manager
applet (in the "notification area") to choose MustangWireless.
