I've noticed a drop in IRC numbers lately and I recall last quarter
someone declared the club dead in the IRC topic for an entire week.

The mailing list hasn't been too active either. This in combination
with IRC being quiet and a lack of meetings I am a bit concerned about
the club's future. This is especially a problem considering most of
the club's leadership/members are graduating soon.

I've cooked up a flyer I plan to post around the school tomorrow as a
light recruitment drive. I asked for opinions on the flyer in IRC with
no response for an hour and half (very unusual for this time of night
during the first week of school), so here's this email instead with me
hoping people still check their emails. Even as I send this email I've
yet to have someone give an opinion on the flyer in IRC. See the link

If no one responds to this by the time I wake up tomorrow I guess I'll
just run around posting the flyer anyway.

Quite honestly we need a complete recruitment drive. Not just this
flyer. Unfortunately, I personally am running short on time (I'm
betting almost everyone else is as well), so I barely had the time to
put together this mediocre flyer.

IRC Stats: 7 bots, 11 graduates/non Calpoly students, 6 current Cal
Poly students (most of whom are idle and usually don't show up to the
meetings we do have).

It's a sad day when we have more bots than active members.
