Something that will help greatly in trying to figure out wifi issues:
please mention what hardware you have (specific laptop model). For
example, laptops with Broadcom wifi cards will need to connect to wired
network at least once to get the Broadcom firmware.<br>

Other than that, you should just be able to open the network manager
applet (in the "notification area") to choose MustangWireless.<br>

If you have network-manager (likely) then you should just have to
select the appropriate network from the nm applet. Now, if your
wireless card's drivers aren't included in the kernel, then you may
have some work ahead of you.<br>

We're heading into dead week now (as I'm sure you're aware), so our
collective free time is greatly diminished. If this isn't a
course-necessary thing, then you might send us a reminder email in a
few weeks, and I'm sure there will be several people willing to sit
down and help. That's not to say that no one will help you _now_, but
